The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals who wish to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. This course provides the foundational skills and knowledge required to support people with ageing-related needs or disabilities in residential, home, or community care environments.
Learners will be equipped to work under supervision, following personalised care plans and applying person-centred support strategies. The role demands empathy, responsibility, and the ability to apply both practical and theoretical knowledge to support clients with dignity and independence.
The course also aligns with Commonwealth and State legislation, Australian care standards, and the NDIS Practice Standards, making graduates workforce-ready for both public and private sectors.
